Call for International Workshop on Vehicular Communications and Networks

Aims & Scope:

Vehicles have become indispensable part of our daily life. With increasing of the researches on autonomous vehicles, vehicular communications and networks are the hotpots of wireless communications. Intelligent connected vehicles have been envisioned to significantly enhance transportation efficiency, mitigate the traffic congestion, and improve traffic safety. However, vehicular communications and networks are facing some challenges such as the highly mobile topologies, the doubly-selective physical channels, and the requirements of low latency and high reliability.

The International Workshop on Vehicular Communications and Networks aims to provide a platform for open discussions on researches and applications enabling and exploiting intelligent vehicular communications to address the challenges above. The intention is to bring together researchers, industry practitioners, and individuals working on the related areas to share their new ideas, latest findings, and state-of-the-art results.

Potential topics include but are not limited to:

  • [Framework of future vehicular networks]
  • [5G-enabled vehicular communications]
  • [Resource management for vehicular networks]
  • [Access Technologies for cellular vehicular communications]
  • [Protocols for vehicular networks]
  • [Mobility management for vehicular networks]
  • [Security and privacy in vehicular networks]
  • [Cloud and edge computing techniques for vehicular networks]
  • [Signal processing for vehicular communications]
  • [Internet of Thing in vehicular networks]
  • [Channel Modeling for vehicular communications]
  • [Software defined vehicular networks with mobile edge computing]
  • [Middleware and platforms for the support of Vehicular Networks]
  • [Performance, scalability, reliability, and efficiency of Vehicular Networks]
  • [Emulation and testbeds for V2X support and application]
